ORIGIN LABELING FOR GERMAN FOOD
On 15 November 2023, the Zentrale Koordination Handel-Landwirtschaft (ZHKL) introduced voluntary origin labelling for food from Germany. At the same time, the four leading German retailers ALDI Nord, ALDI Süd, EDEKA, REWE and the Schwarz Group have pledged their support for the new label.
