Vertical quality integration
HEIDEMARK assumes responsibility for animal welfare and product safety. The strategic element underlying this willingness is our vertical quality integration. By this we understand a consistent quality assurance of the agricultural production chain from the parent stock to hatchery, rearing, selection and listing of the feed mills and transport of the animals down to slaughtering and processing. The 5xD promise guarantees that the five key process stages “parent stock”, “hatchery”, “rearing”, “feed” and “slaughter” all take place in Germany. An important pillar of quality assurance is the Heidemark veterinarian policy.
